Summer Camp

WOULD YOUR STUDENT LIKE TO LEARN TO PLAY A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT?

COME AND LEARN ABOUT INSTRUMENTS at THE 2009 “INTRODUCTION TO BAND” SUMMER CAMP on June 8th – 12th, 2009 at Cornerstone Christian Academy (First Colony Church of Christ) 2140 First Colony Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77479 from 12:30 P.M.-2:30 P.M. (There will be a 15 minute break each day in middle of these times.)

Mr. Paul Sommer, director of Instruments of Praise will be introducing various instruments at the camp. There will instruments for you to try so you can discover which instrument you will want to learn to play. The instruments that will be at the camp will be a FLUTE, TRUMPET, ALTO SAX, TROMBONE, CLARINET and PIANO/KEYBOARD, and BELL KIT (Percussion). You will learn the history behind each instrument and will learn some basic music theory. Fun musical games will be played and interesting videos on various instruments will be shown! The cost of the camp is $100 per student. All students must be 9 years old or older. Your student does not need to bring an instrument unless he has one already!
