Fall 2008 Classes & Schedules

Mr. Sommer will be directing three different levels of bands – beginner ( no experience necessary ), intermediate and advanced. He will also will be directing two levels of string orchestra – intermediate ( at least one year experience necessary ) and advanced and the honor full orchestra. All bands and orchestras are for students who are 9 years old and up. Auditions will be required to participate in the honor orchestra and the advanced string orchestra. The honor full orchestra and advanced string orchestra is also open to students who have graduated from high school and are not older than twenty-two years of age. Mr. Sommer will also teach the beginner piano/keyboard classes for students who are 8 years old and up. The Fall 2008 semester will begin in August, with classes meeting once a week for fifteen weeks. The beginner, intermediate and advanced band, string orchestra and piano/keyboard classes are fifty minutes long. The honor full orchestra classes are sixty minutes long.
